As I worked on this piece, the pandemic was spreading and a friend and gallery owner was dying. Her gallery, CRAFT, was a jewel box of curated work where I showed calligraphic panels. The texts I chose for this book are about our senses by many authors. With time to think, I added my own marginalia of memories of music, art and words that have shaped me.
